Founded by Casey and Jessica Deming, Outpost was built from a shared dream of creating a place that felt welcoming, authentic, and rooted in community. What started as a vision for a modern-day general store has grown into a space where locals, travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and families can slow down, connect, and enjoy the simple things together.

As a husband-and-wife team raising a family right here in Oconee County, we wanted Outpost to reflect the kind of place we personally love spending time in: warm coffee, handmade food, friendly conversation, outdoor inspiration, and a sense of belonging the moment you walk through the door.

Jessica brings her love for baking, hospitality, and creating meaningful experiences into everything we do, from fresh baked goods and seasonal offerings to the small details that make the shop feel personal and welcoming. Casey’s passion for the outdoors, craftsmanship, and community-building helped shape Outpost into more than just a store. It’s become a hub for people who love adventure, local culture, and gathering around good people.
